Case Studies
Residential re-roof and interior renovation
In this project, the house had a domed, curved roof that need re-roofing. This presented a high degree of technical difficulty. In addition to a new roof, the owner also wanted to grind back and apply a dye surface coating to interior concrete floors, and re-sand and polyurethane coat existing timber flooring throughout. Interior repainting and work on exterior vehicle gates were also required.
Our team of specialist roofing contractors and builders, along with trusted sub contractors for painting, floor sanding and electrical work came together to deliver a project that the owners were very pleased with, and which we were proud of also.
This project utilised a broad range of skillsets and presented a real challenge for us – one that we enjoyed tackling.
Building and roofing project assessments for large-scale facility managers and portfolio managers
Our roles have included roofing and building maintenance and fitout projects including modifications to offices, warehouse and distribution centres, alterations and extensions.
Roofing and exterior building fabric assessment work via drone inspection, with associated reports and costings for required maintenance or replacement work is a key part of the early stages of any large project we undertake. This enables us to easily share footage or photos of the issues, to our clients in easily digestible reports., that assist with getting decision-makers across the issues, without having to get up on roofs themselves.
Our team also has qualified asbestos surveyors who can assess buildings for asbestos, undertake sampling for lab testing, and prepare asbestos management plans for buildings.
Foundation works for construction of hockey ground lights
Work has centred around assisting with the setting out of foundations, managing the concrete pours and subsequent removal of boxing, so as to provide a solid foundation for lighting towers to sit upon.
We were engaged by Elektron to undertake this work and once again enjoyed being able to use our skills to benefit the local Waikato community.
