It is important to get the management of asbestos at your site right for the health of your workers, clients and the surrounding area. The team at Astern Group Ltd licensed and qualified asbestos surveyors who can assist with:
- inspecting your building
- identifying and sampling for asbestos
- providing you with a report that maps the location of any asbestos identified during our survey
- providing you with a asbestos management plan to encapsulate those areas (usually with paint), and review things annually
- making sure you’re meeting legislative requirements by surveying your existing pre-2000 building for asbestos
- arranging asbestos removal as required, including in the roof of a building
You’ll need to arrange asbestos sampling before any new building or demolition work can start on your premises. That’s now a requirement of the building law. We’ll create a permanent record of any asbestos issues with your building and the work that’s been done to contain or remove it so you can supply any agencies or local authorities with information as required
